Nothing on this site is an offer, recommendation or inducement to acquire any product or service from any provider. Any decision to acquire a mobile plan is yours alone, and you should satisfy yourself that the plan meets your needs.

We compare 34 plans from 7 providers. Australia has around 40 mobile providers, so plans that are cheaper or better suited to you may exist that we do not list. Our recommendations are the best fit from what we compare, not from the whole market.

We compare SIM-only plans for personal use in Australia. We do not currently compare business plans, data-only or tablet plans, family or shared plans, mobile broadband, handset bundles, or plans that are only available to particular groups such as students or concession holders. Where a provider offers a plan we could not verify, we leave it out rather than estimate it.

Words such as “best”, “cheapest” and “best value” describe the best fit among the plans we compare, on the criteria set out on our methodology page. They are not claims about the entire Australian market.

Coverage is predicted, not guaranteed — on every network, including Telstra. It varies by address, building, device and conditions. Check the provider’s official coverage map for the places you actually use your phone before you switch.

Since 30 June 2026, the ACMA’s Mobile Network Coverage Maps Industry Standard has required Australian operators to publish predicted outdoor coverage in four standardised categories. Those maps are predictions produced by modelling, not measurements of your address, and they do not describe indoor coverage. Actual coverage and speeds depend on your location, your handset, network load, terrain, buildings and weather.

Where a provider resells another operator’s network, the coverage it delivers may differ from that operator’s own retail service. We identify the network tier behind every plan and state the limitations each provider or operator discloses, but we cannot verify coverage at your address and we do not warrant it.

Access to emergency services depends on available coverage and local conditions. Do not rely on any plan or network for emergency calls in an area where you have not confirmed coverage.

Plan details are taken from each provider’s own website and Critical Information Summary on the date shown against each plan. Prices, inclusions and availability change frequently and sometimes without notice. Always confirm the current terms on the provider’s own site before signing up.

We correct for billing cycles and promotional allowances so that plans can be compared on a common basis. Those calculations are described on our methodology page. They are our own derivations and may not match the way a provider presents its pricing.

While we take care to record plan details faithfully and link the source for every figure, we do not warrant that the information on this site is accurate, current or complete. If you spot an error, please tell us.

We receive no commission, fee or other benefit from any provider listed, and no ranking on this site depends on any commercial relationship. If that ever changes we will disclose it prominently and it will not affect the ordering of results.

This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or otherwise connected to any provider it compares.

Provider names, logos and trade marks are the property of their respective owners and are used on this site only to identify and compare those providers’ publicly advertised products. Their use does not imply any association or endorsement.
